Youth & Education Committee
The Youth and Education Committee is charged with implementing the social norms marketing campaign, among other tasks.
This Committee's goals are:
1. Fewer youth will use alcohol and drugs based on intercept and Illinois Youth Survey results
2. Engage youth in subcommittee/MCYAF Coalition work on a regular basis
3. Develop a student leadership team/task force

All Stars program at Chippewa Middle School
Achievements of this Committee include:
- Produce and display social norms marketing messages in District 207 High Schools
- Oversee administration of the Illinois Youth Survey for students in grades 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12 in Maine Township schools
- Conduct opinion surveys and focus groups with high school students to obtain information for social norms messages
- Plan and execute activities in high schools to verify students' understanding of social norms messages
- Provide support for implementation of the All Stars evidence-based prevention program
- Provide prevention program training for school district staff as needed
- Conduct parent and school staff behavior and perception surveys
